Detailed Itinerary
Morning arrival at the airport and transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Upon arrival in Uganda for your 4-Day Best of Kidepo Valley National Park tour, you will be welcomed and picked up by a Gorilla Page Safaris guide. He will brief you about your safari and then embark on a road trip to Kidepo Valley National Park. You will have lunch on the way to Kidepo, and upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. The journey takes 8-10 hours to reach the park.
Morning Game Drive and Evening Game Drive in Narus Valley
You will have breakfast, then embark on an early morning game drive through the park to encounter zebras, giraffes, and many more that roam the short grassland plains of the Narus Valley. The scenic view is splendid with Mount Lotukei in the far background in the Sudan. You will return to your lodge for lunch, and later in the evening, you will embark on an evening game drive to catch up on the game you missed in the morning.
Morning Community encounter and evening guided Nature Walks
You will enjoy a delightful breakfast and then visit the local community for a cultural experience. You will see the Karamajong in their homesteads, known as Manyatas, and learn about their way of life. Spend the morning with them and interact as you appreciate their way of life. You will return for lunch and rest. Then, in the evening, you will engage in a nature walk around the park. You will go through the different hills and hot springs within the park. You will see more wildlife during the nature walk; therefore, be ready to take several pictures. Return to your lodge for dinner and spend the night.
Morning transfer to Entebbe Airport
On this last day of your 4-day Best of Kidepo Valley National Park Mid-range safari, you will have a heavy breakfast before you start your journey to Entebbe International Airport. You will have lunch on your way and be ready to be mesmerized by the unique beauty of the northern and eastern parts of Uganda.
For great memories and photos, places like Kitgum, Gulu, and Karuma are a sight to behold. You will be driven to Entebbe for your scheduled flight back home or to your lodge, marking the end of your trip.
